Noble Jones is a storyteller/filmmaker living in Los Angeles. His career has garnered him recognition in the realms of advertising, documentary film and music videos. Traveling the globe for such clients as AT&T, Proctor & Gamble, Coca Cola, Sears and the World Wildlife Federation, Noble has won numerous awards for his directing, including an AICP MOMA and a Grammy Nomination as well as awards for his evocative cinematography.
A musician himself, Noble has been able to synthesize his love of filmmaking and music, working with a diverse group of artists including Taylor Swift, Mary J. Blige, The Goo Goo Dolls, Seal, Keith Urban, Disturbed, Michael Buble’, Naughty By Nature, Natalie Cole and many others.
Noble has gained a reputation for delivering memorable performances through a deft understanding of character and motivation. An important influence on his approach was cultivated early in his career shooting training films for the NYC Dept of Correction. Working with actual inmates, Noble learned multitudes about human behavior and psychology, providing a unique foundation for his work.
After years of visiting his friend David Fincher on the set of his movies, studying the master at work, Fincher asked Noble to be the second Unit Director on The Social Network. The experience convinced him that feature films were the next logical step in his evolution as a filmmaker.
Recently Noble was hired to write and direct a remake of American Psycho. Although not currently in production, the script was well received and has attracted other writing assignments and feature projects that Noble looks forward to bringing to a theater (or TV screen) near you.
