The Work of Noble Jones

NOBLE JONES

Noble Jones is an award winning filmmaker with a passion for the play between light and shadow. From peering into the darkness to write Lionsgate's remake of “American Psycho,” to crafting the bright spirit of a Taylor Swift music video, Noble shapes story with unique vision.

With an early start directing real inmates in dramatic training films for the NYC Dept of Correction, Noble developed a deft understanding of character and motivation drawn from the rawness of human experience. Combining this insight as a director with his strong visual style as a cinematographer, he quickly found success creating commercials for global brands, and music videos for numerous headliners.

Based on the strength of his screenwriting, Noble soon found himself mentored by David Fincher, eventually directing second unit on “The Social Network.”

Most recently, Noble was Director of Photography on Fincher’s “Videosyncrasy” pilot for HBO. He continues to write, shoot, and direct for the screen, with several projects in various stages of development.
